Kala, Dimensions, and Realms in Behad Gyan

Introduction

Many people believe that God resides somewhere in space. However, according to Behad Gyan, the question is not merely about a location in physical space. The deeper question is: In which dimension, realm, or vibrational layer does God reside? Modern science uses the term dimension, while spiritual knowledge uses words such as Aayam, Lok, and Layer. These concepts describe different levels of existence beyond the physical world.

Understanding Dimensions as Lokas

A dimension is not merely a mathematical direction or coordinate system. A dimension is a complete vibrational field or realm of existence.

Dimension = Aayam = Layer = Lok

Bapuji teaches that each Lok possesses its own vibrational frequency, consciousness level, and spiritual characteristics.

The Dimensions Within Our Brahmand

According to the spiritual structure of our Brahmand (Solar System), there are multiple realms above the Earth. Scientists generally describe physical existence as four-dimensional:

  1. Length

  2. Width

  3. Height

  4. Time

These four dimensions correspond to the gross physical framework. Beyond this physical framework exist higher spiritual realms.

Seven Higher Lokas

Above Earth are seven higher Lokas. When these are added to the four dimensions of physical existence, the count reaches eleven levels.

Higher Divine Realms

Beyond these higher Lokas are:

  1. Brahmapuri

  2. Vishnupuri

  3. Shivpuri

  4. Paramdham

Adding these realms increases the dimensional hierarchy further.

According to this explanation:

  • Physical dimensions = 4

  • Seven higher Lokas = 7

  • Total = 11

  • Brahmapuri = 12

  • Vishnupuri = 13

  • Shivpuri = 14

  • Paramdham = 15

Thus the spiritual structure extends far beyond ordinary physical dimensions.

Beyond Paramdham: Maha Brahmand

Behad Gyan explains that reality does not end at Paramdham.

Beyond the known Brahmand exists:

  • Maha Brahmand

  • Galactic regions (Aakash Ganga)

  • Higher cosmic structures

As consciousness expands into these greater cosmic domains, additional dimensions continue to unfold.

The dimensional hierarchy becomes increasingly vast and difficult to comprehend through ordinary physical understanding.

The Relationship Between Kala and Dimension

One of the important concepts presented is the relationship between Kala and Dimension. Kala can be understood as a level of spiritual power, capacity, consciousness, or cosmic functioning.

According to this teaching:

One Kala corresponds to one Dimension.

Every Kala represents a unique vibrational field and therefore a unique realm of existence.

Formula

  • 1 Kala = 1 Dimension

  • 1 Kala = 1 Lok

  • 1 Kala = 1 Vibrational Layer

Thus:

  • More Kalas = More Dimensions

  • More Dimensions = More Realms

  • More Realms = Greater Expansion of Consciousness

Dimensions in the Universe

The discourse suggests that the Universe operates approximately within the range of 16 to 20 Kalas. Therefore, the Universe may be viewed as containing dimensions corresponding to those Kala levels. As consciousness evolves through higher Kala states, it gains access to higher dimensions and higher realms.

Dimensions in the Multi-Universe

The concept becomes even more expansive in the Multi-Universe.

If the Multi-Universe contains 100 Kalas, then:

  • 100 Kalas

  • 100 Dimensions

  • 100 Lokas

can exist simultaneously. Each dimension represents a different vibrational layer of reality. Each realm contains its own laws, beings, consciousness levels, and spiritual experiences.

The 21st Kala and Beyond

The teaching further explains that every Kala possesses its own dimension.

For example:

  • 21st Kala → 21st Dimension

  • Higher Kala → Higher Dimension

  • Behad Kala (Infinite Kala) → Infinite Dimension

As consciousness rises into Behad, the dimensional structure becomes increasingly limitless.

Why Physical Science Cannot Fully Explain These Dimensions

According to Behad Gyan, dimensions are not merely physical coordinates.

They are:

  • Consciousness fields

  • Vibrational realms

  • Spiritual layers

  • Cosmic Lokas

Because modern science primarily studies gross matter, it cannot fully describe the infinite dimensions associated with higher Kalas and higher states of consciousness. The higher dimensions can only be experienced through spiritual development, meditation, soul power, and direct realization.

Conclusion

Behad Gyan presents a multidimensional universe in which dimensions, Lokas, and Kalas are interconnected. Every Kala corresponds to a unique vibrational realm. As consciousness evolves, it gains access to higher dimensions and increasingly subtle worlds.

From Earth and the higher Lokas, through Brahmapuri, Vishnupuri, Shivpuri, Paramdham, Maha Brahmand, and ultimately the infinite realms of Behad, reality is portrayed as an immense hierarchy of dimensions extending far beyond ordinary physical understanding.
