Are We Living in 5D Consciousness? The Spiritual Difference Between 3D, 4D and 5D Awareness

Introduction: What Does 5D Consciousness Really Mean?

The terms 3D consciousness, 4D consciousness, and 5D consciousness have become extremely popular across spiritual communities, social media platforms, and personal development circles. Many people believe that 5D refers to another planet, another realm, or a physical dimension where humanity will eventually relocate. However, the deeper spiritual teachings of the Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata, and the knowledge explained by Bapuji Dasharathbhai Patel reveal a very different truth.

·       5D is not a place. 5D is not a planet. 5D is not a separate universe.

·       5D is a state of consciousness.

Two people can live in the same house, face the same circumstances, and experience the same events. Yet one may be living in 3D consciousness while the other lives in 5D consciousness.

The difference is not their location. The difference is their awareness.

What Is 3D Consciousness?

The entire structure of 3D consciousness rests upon a single belief: "I am the body." When a person identifies themselves as the body, certain experiences naturally arise:

  • Fear, Anxiety, Comparison, Attachment, Possessiveness, Competition, Worry about death, Mine and Yours mentality

As long as body-consciousness dominates life, a person remains trapped within the limitations of 3D awareness.

Signs of 3D Consciousness

  • Reacting immediately to criticism

  • Feeling jealous of others' success

  • Fear of loss and death

  • Seeking happiness from external objects

  • Attachment to name, status, and achievements

  • Constant concern about what others think

The world appears as a battlefield of competition.

What Is 5D Consciousness?

The entire structure of 5D consciousness rests upon one eternal truth: "I am the soul."

When a person truly realizes this truth, higher qualities begin emerging naturally:

  • Oneness, Witness consciousness, Inner peace, Unconditional love, Gratitude, Detachment, Compassion, Spiritual awareness

These qualities are not forced. They arise spontaneously through soul-consciousness.

Signs of 5D Consciousness

  • Responding instead of reacting

  • Seeing all beings as souls

  • Remaining peaceful during challenges

  • Genuine happiness for others' success

  • Trust in Divine order

  • Freedom from fear of death

The world appears as one interconnected consciousness.

The Real Difference Between 3D and 5D

The difference between 3D and 5D is not external. It is internal.

3D Says: "I am the body."

5D Says: "I am the immortal soul."

Everything changes once this shift occurs.

When insulted:

  • 3D reacts with anger.

  • 5D remains a witness.

When successful:

  • 3D says, "I did it."

  • 5D says, "It happened through me."

When something is lost:

  • 3D suffers.

  • 5D understands that everything comes and goes.

When others succeed:

  • 3D feels jealousy.

  • 5D feels genuine happiness.

Why Witness Consciousness Is the Key

One of the most important teachings of higher consciousness is becoming a witness. A person living in 5D understands: "The words were spoken to the body, not to the soul."

The soul remains untouched. Most human suffering arises because people take everything personally.

The practice of remembering: "I am not the body. I am the soul." gradually dissolves karmic reactions and emotional suffering.

Why Knowledge Must Come Before Meditation

Many people attempt meditation without understanding. They sit silently with closed eyes, but their thoughts continue endlessly.

Without spiritual knowledge:

  • Concentration becomes difficult.

  • Yoga remains incomplete.

  • Meditation remains temporary.

Knowledge creates understanding. Understanding creates connection. Connection creates true meditation. This is why Brahma Gyan and Self-Knowledge are considered essential foundations of spiritual growth.

What Is 4D Consciousness?

Between body-consciousness and soul-consciousness lies another level often described as 4D.

4D relates to:

  • Mind, Time, Dreams, Imagination, Thoughts, The subtle realm

It is the dimension of mental and subtle experiences. However, even 4D remains below true soul-consciousness.

The Secret Hidden in the Bhagavad Gita

After hearing all 18 chapters and 700 verses of the Bhagavad Gita, Arjuna made a remarkable statement:

"Nashto Mohah Smritir Labdha." (Bhagavad Gita 18.73)

Meaning: "My delusion has ended." "My memory has returned."

Notice carefully.

Arjuna did not say: "I gained new knowledge."

He said: "I remembered."

This is the essence of spiritual awakening. The soul never truly forgot its divine nature. Only false identification covered the truth. Just as clouds hide the sun without extinguishing it, ignorance hides the soul without changing its essence.

Aham Brahmasmi and Tat Tvam Asi

The wisdom of the Upanishads can be summarized in two Mahavakyas:

Aham Brahmasmi "I am Brahman."

Tat Tvam Asi "Thou Art That."

The first represents Self-Knowledge. The second represents Universal Love. When knowledge and love unite, true 5D consciousness emerges.

The Difference Between Knowing and Living

Many people know spiritual teachings intellectually. Very few live them. The distance between 3D and 5D is the distance between: Knowing Truth and Living Truth One person says: "I know I am a soul." Another person experiences every moment as a soul. That difference transforms consciousness completely.

The Three Steps to Higher Consciousness

1. Smriti (Remembrance)

Repeatedly remember: "I am a soul." "The other person is also a soul."

2. Drishti (Vision) See the soul before seeing the body. Recognize consciousness behind appearances.

3. Sthiti (Stability) Practice until soul-awareness becomes natural. Just as breathing happens automatically, soul-consciousness eventually becomes effortless.

This state is called: Jeevan Mukti — Liberation While Living.

Satyug Is a State of Consciousness

Many people think Satyug is merely a future date. In reality, Satyug is a level of awakened consciousness.

When enough souls awaken:

  • The Earth remains the same.

  • Human experience changes completely.

This is the movement from Had (Limitation) to Behad (Infinity).

Had "I am the body."               Behad "I am the soul." The distance between the two is only one belief.

What Do the Vedas and Upanishads Teach?

The Mandukya Upanishad describes four states:

  1. Waking

  2. Dreaming

  3. Deep Sleep

  4. Turiya

Turiya represents pure witnessing awareness. This closely corresponds to what many people today describe as higher consciousness or 5D awareness. The Isha Upanishad teaches: The one who sees the same Self in all beings becomes free from sorrow and delusion. This is Unity Consciousness.

What Does the Bhagavad Gita Teach About 5D Living?

The Bhagavad Gita repeatedly teaches:

Remain equal in:

  • Pleasure and pain

  • Gain and loss

  • Victory and defeat

Krishna explains that true spiritual living means: Living like a lotus leaf in water.

Remain in the world. But do not become attached to it.

This state is called: Brahmi Sthiti Once attained, delusion disappears.

What Do the Ramayana and Mahabharata Teach?

Lord Rama demonstrated perfect equanimity. Whether receiving a kingdom or accepting exile, he remained inwardly peaceful. Hanuman demonstrated complete egolessness.

Tulsidas expressed this beautifully: "Siya Ramamay Sab Jag Jani." Seeing the entire universe as Divine.

Similarly, Sri Krishna lived amidst war, politics, and conflict while remaining internally detached. The Mahabharata teaches that higher consciousness does not require escaping life.

It requires transforming awareness.

Beyond the Three Gunas

Most people remain trapped within:

  • Sattva, Rajas, Tamas

Even Sattva remains a form of bondage because it still operates within birth and death.

The ultimate goal is becoming: Trigunatit (Beyond the Three Gunas). Only then does true liberation become possible.

Knowledge Donation: The Greatest Donation

One of the most important teachings emphasized throughout the discourse is:

Gyan Daan Maha Daan (The Donation of Knowledge Is the Greatest Donation)

Money can help temporarily. Food can help temporarily. Knowledge can transform lifetimes.

Sharing spiritual wisdom, books, teachings, and awakening becomes one of the highest forms of service.

The Final Secret of 5D Consciousness

The deepest truth is simple: You do not need to become 5D. You already are. You are not becoming something new. You are remembering what has always been true. The sun never disappeared. Only clouds appeared. The soul never lost its divinity. Only ignorance appeared. The journey from 3D to 5D is therefore not a journey outward. It is a journey inward. From body-consciousness to soul-consciousness. From limitation to infinity. From Had to Behad. From forgetting to remembering. And ultimately, as the Bhagavad Gita reveals:

Smriti Hi Mukti Hai.

Remembrance Itself Is Liberation.
