Introduction

According to deep spiritual knowledge, the soul first creates Prarabdha (destiny) and then obtains a corresponding body. The body is not random — it is formed according to the quality, level, and subtlety of the soul’s karmic record.

If the Prarabdha of the soul is gross, the soul receives a gross physical body. If the Prarabdha is subtle, the soul obtains a subtle body suitable for higher realms. Thus, every world, dimension, and universe provides bodies according to the spiritual capacity and karmic vibrations of the soul.

This knowledge explains why souls take birth in different worlds, dimensions, and cosmic systems.

1. Prarabdha Comes Before the Body

First Prarabdha is created, then the body is obtained.  The soul’s accumulated karmic impressions determine:

• which world the soul enters

• what type of body is received

• what level of consciousness the soul experiences

If the Prarabdha of a soul belongs to another world, the soul obtains a body suitable for that world. If the Prarabdha belongs to heavenly realms, the soul receives a heavenly body.

Thus: As is the Prarabdha, so is the body.

2. Different Worlds Give Different Bodies

Souls travel across many worlds and create different Prarabdha through their actions (karma) and spiritual efforts (Purushartha). Example progression described:

• Good actions in one world lead to birth in a higher world.

• Spiritual effort (Purushartha) creates higher Prarabdha.

• Continuous elevation leads to entry into higher lokas such as:

  • higher dimensional worlds

  • Satya world

  • Vishnupuri

  • divine realms

The body keeps changing according to the spiritual progress of the soul.

3. Fourteen Worlds and Seven Lower Realms

Spiritual scriptures describe 14 worlds (lokas) in the universe.

There are also lower realms associated with heavy karmic vibrations.

Seven lower realms include:

• Atal

• Vital

• Sutal

• Rasatal

• Mahatal

• Patal

Scriptures also describe many hell-like states. When the soul performs sinful actions influenced by negative tendencies (Asuric Vritti), it develops dense karmic impressions. This leads to birth in lower vibrational worlds where the elements are heavier and consciousness is more limited. Thus karmic heaviness results in descent to lower lokas.

4. Karma Creates Prarabdha

A key question arises:

Does Prarabdha create karma, or does karma create Prarabdha?

Answer:
Karma creates Prarabdha. The soul performs actions through:

• mind

• speech

• body

These actions create karmic impressions which form Prarabdha.

Prarabdha determines:

• where the soul will be born

• what type of body will be received

• which world the soul will enter

5. Souls from Mahabrahman Enter the Universe

According to higher spiritual cosmology, souls originally exist in a subtle or formless state in Mahabrahman. From the formless state, souls travel into creation and enter various worlds. Sometimes a soul enters the mortal world out of curiosity or desire to experience material existence. Desire creates karma.> Karma creates Prarabdha.> Prarabdha causes the soul to become bound in the cycle of birth and death.

Thus the soul becomes trapped in the mortal world until it regains self-knowledge.

6. Formless and Subtle Bodies

Initially the soul exists in a formless state. Then according to karmic impressions it obtains bodies of different densities:

• subtle bodies

• causal bodies

• divine bodies

• elemental bodies

• physical bodies

If the soul develops high spiritual capacity, it can exist in very subtle states even in higher universes. Higher capacity allows entry into higher cosmic regions such as:

• Maha-brahman

• Param Maha-brahman

• Param Dham

7. Multiple Bodies Across Universes

The discourse explains that souls can obtain multiple bodies across different cosmic systems.

Examples mentioned:

• In Mahabrahman: 8–10 bodies

• In Param Mahabrahman: about 16 bodies

• In the universe: 1–4 bodies

• In higher cosmic structures: 25–30 bodies

• In even greater universes: up to 50 bodies

This indicates that the soul operates simultaneously across multiple levels of existence. The number of bodies corresponds to the expansion of consciousness and karmic capability.

8. The Cycle of Birth and Death

When the soul becomes deeply attached to the material world, it forgets its original nature. The soul then continues in the cycle of birth and death without understanding its true Prarabdha. Most humans only understand physical birth and death, but higher spiritual knowledge describes many levels of existence beyond physical reality.

9. Role of Spiritual Knowledge (Gyan), Yoga and Service

The discourse emphasizes that spiritual progress requires:

• Gyan (spiritual knowledge)

• Yoga (soul awareness and connection to the Supreme)

• Seva (service for world transformation)

• Dharana (spiritual virtues)

Through these practices, the soul creates elevated Prarabdha. Elevated Prarabdha leads to attainment of divine bodies filled with spiritual light.

10. Sangam Yuga – Time of Transformation

The present time is described as a special spiritual period (Sangam Yuga) where souls can create the highest destiny. Through spiritual knowledge and effort, the soul can attain:

• highest consciousness

• highest spiritual status

• highest divine body

• supreme state of being

This destiny is created through present spiritual effort. Destiny (Prarabdha) is continuously being created.

11. Bodies of Divine Light

The discourse describes attainment of bodies filled with divine light. These bodies possess spiritual power and subtle radiance. Different  soul power (kalas), worlds and universes correspond to different types of spiritual bodies. These teachings are described as deep spiritual knowledge understood by spiritually advanced seekers.

 Conclusion

• worlds

• universes

• dimensions

• levels of consciousness

The universe contains multiple lokas where souls experience existence according to karmic vibration. Through spiritual knowledge, yoga and service, the soul can elevate its Prarabdha and attain higher divine states. Ultimately the journey of the soul is a movement from gross existence toward subtle, divine and supreme reality.
