The True Meaning of Liberation, Soul Journey & Cosmic Dissolution

Introduction

In a profound spiritual dialogue, questions were raised regarding the deepest mysteries of existence—liberation, the soul’s journey, cosmic dissolution, and the ultimate truth of merging into the infinite. Babu Ji provides detailed answers, revealing a multi-layered understanding of spirituality, knowledge, and the evolution of the soul.

What is Liberation (Mukti)?

Liberation is commonly understood as freedom from the cycle of birth and rebirth. However, according to Babu Ji, the true meaning of liberation is much deeper:

  • Liberation = Dissolution of the soul’s individual existence

  • It occurs when the soul merges into the Supreme Soul (Shiva)

  • In this state, the soul becomes formless and merges into Paramdham

But this is not the ultimate goal for a knowledgeable soul.

Liberation vs Liberation-in-Life (Jeevan Mukti)

There are two paths:

1. Liberation (Mukti)

  • Complete merging into the Supreme

  • End of individual identity

2. Liberation-in-Life (Jeevan Mukti)

  • Achieved through knowledge and yoga

  • The soul destroys its karmic impressions

  • Lives beyond karma while still conscious

A wise soul does not seek dissolution, but instead seeks liberation while living.

How Does the Soul Progress Spiritually?

The journey of the soul follows a gradual ascent:

  1. Destruction of sins (through suffering or yoga)

  2. Remembrance of the Supreme Father

  3. Detachment from body and world

  4. Entry into subtle realms

The soul travels through higher realms:

  • Heavenly Realm (Swarg)----Mahaloka---Janloka---Tapoloka----Brahmapuri---Vishnupuri (Vaikunth)

Why Souls Stop Seeking Liberation

Once the soul reaches Vishnupuri (Vaikunth): It experiences immense bliss and immortality. There is no sorrow, only divine joy. The desire for liberation disappears

Later, the soul seeks something higher: Supreme Peace (Param Shanti)

From Bliss to Supreme Peace

  • After experiencing divine bliss: The soul ascends to Shiva’s abode, Experiences absolute peace, Moves towards formless existence (Kaivalya State & Becoming Shiva). At this stage: No karma remains (The soul becomes karmateet), No identity remains, The soul becomes Shiva-like

               Living being → Shiva-like → Divine consciousness

Beyond Shiva: Journey to Mahashiva

With higher knowledge: The soul gains cosmic awareness, Understands galaxies and creation. Develops divine vision Then it aspires to merge into: Mahashiva (greater cosmic consciousness)

Is the Soul Eternal?

Babu Ji challenges the common belief: The soul is not absolutely eternal. It has a cosmic lifespan

During Great Cosmic Dissolution (Mahapralaya):----Even souls are destroyed----All existence merges into cosmic fire (Kaal Agni)---This is linked to black holes

Kaal Agni & Black Holes

  • Shiva enters the Sun and creates Kaal Agni, his cosmic fire burns everything. This concept is linked to black holes in modern science

Types of Dissolution

1. Partial Dissolution

  • Physical destruction, Souls remain and move to higher realms

2. Cosmic Dissolution

  • Universe dissolves, Souls still survive

3. Great Dissolution (Mahapralaya)

  • Even souls are destroyed, Entire existence ends

The Law of Merging

Every soul returns to its origin:

  • From Shiva → merges into Shiva

  • From Mahashiva → merges into Mahashiva

  • From Parama Mahashiva → merges into the Absolute

Do All Souls Achieve Liberation?

No.

  • Only specific higher souls (like the 108 seed souls) play major cosmic roles

  • Other souls evolve through effort, karma, and knowledge

However:  Remembering the Supreme always gives power and transformation

Devotion vs Knowledge

Devotion (Bhakti)

  • Chanting (e.g., Om), Awakens inner energy (Kundalini)

Knowledge (Gyan)

  • Direct remembrance of the formless Supreme, Faster spiritual progress

Example:

  • Meera → went to higher realms (through devotion)

  • Shankaracharya → still in cycle of birth and death, completing karmas

Self-Realization vs Brahman Realization (Atma Sakshatkar vs Brahm Sakshatkar)

·       Self-Realization: Knowing “I am a soul”, Experiencing inner consciousness

·       Brahman Realization: Experiencing the formless Supreme (Shiva), Becoming one with divine light

Karma and the Final Transformation

At the end of time:

  • Sinners experience intense regret, Suffering of many lifetimes occurs instantly, After purification, souls enter immortal realms

But even in immortality:

  • There are levels and hierarchies, Souls remain categorized by quality

Do Great Saints Attain Liberation?

Not necessarily:

  • Souls like saints and sages may still:

    • Remain in the cycle of birth and death

    • Continue spiritual evolution

  • Even great beings must complete karmic accounts

The Cosmic Structure of Existence

  • Multiple universes and galaxies exist

  • Layers of existence span thousands of light-years

  • Souls travel across dimensions

Even: Stars (like Saptarishi) are linked to evolved souls, Advanced souls may avoid rebirth on Earth

Higher Realms and Emotions

  • Up to Brahma Lok → duality exists

  • In Vishnu Puri → extreme happiness

  • In Shiv Puri → only peace

No anger, ego, or conflict exists in higher realms.

If Only Few Souls Reach the Infinite, Why Should Others Try?

Answer:

  • Remembering the Infinite (Behad) gives power

  • That power brings knowledge

  • Knowledge transforms soul from Jeev → Shiv

On 108 Special Souls

  • 108 souls are seed souls of transformation

  • They carry knowledge of the infinite drama

  • They bring transformation to the world

Other souls:

  • Still evolve, Move into different layers of existence based on quality

  • Souls which

if someone commits sins, then in the end they will have to face deep repentance., when the environment (atmosphere) changes, those souls will experience such intense regret that they will go on television and say to people: “I am a great sinner. I am extremely corrupt. Yes, I have committed many sins. Beat me, punish me.” And in just one second, they will experience punishment equal to many years. Only after that will they become immortal. They will not become immortal easily — they will become immortal after suffering punishment. At the final moment, within one second, they will experience the suffering of many years. There will be so much pain and regret that they will cry tears of blood — not ordinary tears, but tears of blood.

After that, they will enter immortality.

Levels in the Immortal World (Amarlok)

Even in Amarlok, there are 10 layers, and each layer has 4 subdivisions, making 40 levels.

Such souls will reside in the 40th level, which is the lowest quality level.

  • The quality of the supreme elements differs in each layer

  • Even in Paramdham, each layer has further divisions

So souls are categorized based on their quality — not all souls are equal.

Similarly:

  • Heaven (Swarg) also has multiple levels

  • There are about 40 categories or divisions

However, in the future it will not just be Swarg, but Amarlok (immortal world).

Do Negative Emotions Exist in Higher Realms?

Now the question is:
Do attachment, hatred, lust, and anger exist in realms like Brahma Lok, Vishnu Lok, and Shiv Lok?

The answer:

  • Up to Brahma Puri, the world is still made of the three elements (gross nature)

  • But in Vishnu Puri (Vaikuntha):

    • There is 50% presence of supreme elements (Param Tatva)

    • Space, air, and fire exist in their purified (divine) form

Because of this:

  • The soul’s capacity becomes very high

  • The soul experiences supreme happiness (Param Sukh)

And where there is unlimited happiness and no sorrow:

  • Why would there be conflict or fighting?

Nature of Vishnu Puri

In the original creation:

  • Vishnu Puri was a 50% divine (Param Tatva) world

  • And 50% normal elements

So:

  • Half was like heaven

  • Half was like the immortal world

In such a place:

  • Souls are immortal

  • There is no reason for conflict

Because:

  • Where there is supreme happiness, there is no conflict

  • Where there is Param Shanti (supreme peace), no one creates disturbance

Final Insight

  • Disturbance (ashanti) exists only up to Brahma Puri

  • Higher realms are filled with:

    • Peace

    • Bliss

    • Harmony

Conclusion

This discourse reveals a powerful truth:

  • Liberation is not the final goal

  • Knowledge transforms the journey

  • The soul evolves from:

    • Human → Divine → Shiva → Mahashiva → Beyond

Ultimately:

  • The journey is infinite

  • Consciousness keeps expanding

  • The highest aim becomes not escape, but realization of supreme peace and truth
