Title: Self-Realization (Atma Darshan) in Paramshanti (Supreme Peace): A Deep Spiritual Exploration

Introduction: What is Atma Darshan?

In the state of Paramshanti (supreme peace), I would like to explain about Atma Darshan (self-realization). Many people talk about self-realization, and in modern philosophy also, you will find discussions about it. Over time, spiritual knowledge has continuously mixed and evolved. The teachings originally found in the Vedas, Upanishads, and Puranas later blended with the knowledge of the Bhagavad Gita about 5,000 years ago. After that, many spiritual paths and sects emerged, and knowledge kept getting analyzed, modified, and interpreted in different ways. However, when it comes specifically to Atma Darshan, very few people truly speak about it in depth. Personally, I have not come across many books or teachings that clearly explain the true knowledge of self-realization.

What is Atma Darshan?

First, many people do not even believe in the existence of the soul (Atma) or the Supreme Soul (Paramatma). There are many philosophies that reject both. However, among those who do believe in the soul, some also believe in the Supreme Being (Parabrahm Parmeshwar). They say: “I am a soul. I belong to the Supreme.”

Now, experiencing the true form of the self — this is where the journey begins. Today, many people talk about Atma Gyan (knowledge of the soul), but what truly is Atma Darshan?

·       Is it possible to actually see the soul?

·       Is it possible to experience oneself as a soul?

A Mahatma is one who realizes: “I am not the body, I am the soul.” Many repeat affirmations like “I am a soul”, including institutions such as Brahma Kumaris, which have been teaching this for decades. However, simply repeating this does not lead to actual self-realization.

Why Has Atma Darshan Not Happened?

Why has true Atma Darshan not occurred for most people?

Because true self-realization is not achieved by words or repetition alone. Atma Darshan means recognizing oneself deeply:

  • I am a soul.

  • The body is merely an instrument for action.

  • The soul acts through the body.

But beyond this understanding lies a deeper question:

Which form of the soul does it remember?

The soul must remember:

  • Its formless (Nirakar) state

  • Its Anadi Swaroop (eternal original form)

  • Its Beej Roop Avastha (seed-form state)

Without this deeper remembrance, true Atma Darshan does not occur.

Connection with the Supreme (Paramatma)

When the soul connects with the Supreme Soul and receives power, a transformation begins.

Through deep yogic connection:

  • The soul gradually detaches from worldly relations and material attachments.

  • It reaches a state of Nashṭo Moha Smriti Labdha (freedom from attachment and restoration of true awareness).

At this stage:

  • The soul becomes free from illusions.

  • It becomes stable in its original awareness.

  • It develops a strong determination: “I want to know myself. I want Atma Darshan.”

Why Even Advanced Souls May Not Experience It

Even highly spiritual practitioners, including those connected with Brahma Kumaris, who meditate on the incorporeal Shiva and establish a connection with the Supreme, have not necessarily reached Atma Darshan.

Why?

Because:

  • Knowing the soul is not the same as experiencing the soul.

  • Without realizing the Anadi Swaroop and Beej Roop, self-realization remains incomplete.

If true Atma Darshan had occurred:

  • Souls would know their exact category and origin.

  • They would know their position in the cosmic hierarchy.

  • They would experience their formless stage even while in the physical body.

Chapter 2: How Does Atma Darshan Happen?

Atma Darshan is extremely difficult in the human body — it is not easy.

It requires:

  • Long and deep connection with the Supreme

  • Freedom from desires of the physical world

  • A state where all attachments are dissolved

When this happens:

  • The soul begins to experience the Nirakari stage even while in the body.

  • Knowledge starts emerging gradually.

  • The soul experiences its deeper layers.

This is the essence of self-realization:
To experience the formless state while being in form.

Inner Transformation Required

For Atma Darshan:

  • The mind must have an intense desire for realization.

  • The intellect must become completely refined.

  • Mind, intellect, and sanskars must become still and purified.

The soul begins to question:

  • Who am I?

  • From where did I come?

  • Why have I taken birth?

With deep connection to the Supreme Light:

  • Power flows into the soul.

  • Layers (coverings) over the soul begin to dissolve.

Chapter 3: What Knowledge Emerges?

When Atma Darshan begins:

  • The soul starts understanding its category among souls.

  • It realizes its role in the cosmic system.

  • It understands whether it belongs to higher categories like:

    • 9 lakh souls

    • 16,000 souls

    • 1,008 souls

    • 33 crore deities

The soul realizes: Where it came from,  Why it came, What its purpose is

It also understands that:

  • The original soul (pure light) has no record.

  • But coverings (called Might) form around it.

  • These coverings store impressions and karmic records.

Through refined intellect and deep yogic power:

  • These coverings begin to open.

  • Inner knowledge emerges.

Chapter 4: When Does Atma Darshan Happen?

First comes knowledge. Then comes living that knowledge. Then the soul becomes Gyan Swaroop (embodiment of knowledge).

The soul remembers:

  • Its eternal form (Anadi Swaroop)

  • Its highest state (Param Pad)

  • Its original power

When the aim becomes extremely high:

  • Like Arjuna focusing only on the eye of the bird, and The soul becomes completely focused.

Then:

  • Self-realization happens.

  • The soul experiences its formless stage even while in the body.

  • It becomes a Gyani Atma (knowledge-filled soul).

Final Stage: Liberation Through Atma Darshan

As the soul stabilizes in knowledge:

  • Attachments dissolve

  • Karmic bondage weakens

  • The soul becomes free

Eventually: The soul merges into its original light and It experiences its eternal form. This state — where the soul becomes what it always intended to become — is called Atma Darshan.

Additional Clarifications (Based on Deep Spiritual Knowledge)

Some unclear or complex parts of the transcript, when understood through the teachings of Behad Ka Gyan and insights similar to those of Dashrathbhai Patel, can be clarified as follows:

  • Atma Darshan is not visual seeing — it is experiential realization.

  • The “layers” over the soul are subtle energy coverings formed by karma.

  • “Param Light” refers to the original pure consciousness of the soul.

  • True realization requires:

    • Intense longing

    • Deep yogic connection

    • Detachment from all worldly desires

Conclusion

Atma Darshan is not a concept, not a belief, and not a repetition. It is a direct inner experience of one’s eternal self. It requires: Knowledge, Practice, Purity, Connection with the Supreme

Only then can the soul truly realize: “I am not the body — I am the eternal soul.”
