Kailash Mansarovar is not merely a geographical location in the Himalayas; it is regarded as a powerful spiritual center where the physical and subtle worlds intersect. According to spiritual teachings, this sacred region becomes especially active during the night, when movements of subtle souls and divine energies intensify.

This article explores the mystical understanding of Kailash Mansarovar, its connection to higher divine realms, and the spiritual significance attributed to its sacred waters.

The Night Activity of Subtle Souls

At night, in the region of Mount Kailash and Mansarovar, from around 11:00 PM until early morning (around 5:00 AM), many subtle-world souls continuously move in and out of that area. Some subtle beings even bathe in Lake Mansarovar in a subtle form.

The Power of Mansarovar Water

The water of Mansarovar contains a small portion of the Supreme Element (Param Tattva). It is not ordinary water. The water of Mansarovar is extremely powerful.

In ancient times, similar power existed in the Ganga when the sacred Ganga descended to Earth as the “Gyan Ganga.” When people bathed in the Ganga, their subtle body would become charged, and many of their sins stored in the subtle body would be reduced. However, the causal body cannot be charged in the same way.

The Presence of Divine Realms

At  Mansarovar, many advanced subtle souls who have performed great renunciation and penance travel between higher realms — second and third worlds — and come there. Some souls also circumambulate Mount Kailash, where Lord Shiva (Shankar), Parvati, Ganesh, Kartikeya, and the divine family reside.

Subtle beings can see and have darshan of Shiva and Parvati, but ordinary humans cannot see them in a practical sense. However, if a human has a direct spiritual experience, they may perceive something. Devoted souls may experience some divine or mystical feelings at night. Souls who are highly virtuous, pure in mind, and whose inner consciousness is clean may experience something there.

Spiritual Eligibility and Experience

That is why going to Mansarovar and bathing there is considered very auspicious. Souls who receive human birth and get the opportunity to go there are considered very fortunate. Many people even report spiritual experiences at Kailash Mansarovar.

The Kailash Mansarovar located on Earth is a small model of Shiv Shakti Puri — a higher divine realm. Shiv Puri is said to be above Vishnu Puri and below the Supreme Abode (Param Dham). What exists there in divine form has a small representation here on Earth.

Many celestial vehicles (vimans) are said to travel from Shiv Puri, descending and ascending. Some also travel between Vishnu Puri, Brahma Puri, and other higher realms. Beings from Gandharva lok, Nar lok, Kinnar lok, and other worlds come and perform divine music before Shankar and Parvati.

At night especially, many kinds of souls move in that region between 11 PM and 5 AM. These are mainly elevated souls. Ghosts and negative entities may attempt to come, but they are not granted entry now. Previously, such entities could come, but now the atmosphere has become so powerful that they cannot enter.

Earlier, during Shiva’s divine procession (Shankar’s Barat), ghosts and spirits were included. But the present divine form of Shankar and Parvati is described as more refined, powerful, and elevated. The atmosphere is so spiritually charged that negative entities flee from a distance.

Why Negative Entities Cannot Enter

While it is acknowledged that ghosts or lower entities may attempt to approach the region, it is believed that:

• The spiritual atmosphere has become extremely powerful.

• The vibrational field is so elevated that negative entities cannot enter.

• Such beings are said to flee from a distance.

Earlier mythological depictions describe Shiva’s procession including ghosts and spirits. However, the present spiritual understanding describes a more refined and powerful divine presence that does not permit impure energies

This current form is not the same as the old symbolic depiction; it is described as more powerful, more peaceful, and more connected to higher realms.
