2021, What is the relationship between Soul and Law of Attraction? (Illusion,Power of Thought)
The Law of Attraction says that whatever you think repeatedly, you will eventually receive. This concept is commonly expressed using an English term, but if we understand it spiritually, it is actually the law of the soul.
If a soul is powerful, then its attraction power is strong. If the soul lacks power, then the Law of Attraction will not work effectively. For example, if a person keeps repeating, “I want a car, I want a car,” just thinking like this will not bring results.
How does the Law of Attraction actually work?
In reality, the Law of Attraction works through the power of the soul. First, the soul must have strength. Only when the soul has power will thoughts (sankalp) become powerful, and only then will desires manifest. People may think their whole life, “I want to become a doctor,” but still not achieve it. Why? Because the soul does not have enough inner strength.
Why does the Law of Attraction fail?
Many people repeatedly think about their goals, yet fail again and again. This happens because:
The soul lacks power
There is no consistent spiritual effort (yog)
Thoughts do not carry real energy
Even if someone studies and gets opportunities, they may still fail repeatedly because their inner energy is weak.
What happens when the Law of Attraction succeeds?
When the soul gains power, thoughts become strong, and then desires begin to manifest naturally. This is the natural law of the soul. But the question is: Where does this thought power come from?
It ultimately comes from the soul itself.
How to increase the power of the soul?
The soul is covered with many layers (impressions from past lives). Because of these layers, its power is suppressed. To release the soul’s true energy: Remove these coverings, Purify the soul, Strengthen inner awareness
As the soul becomes clearer, its energy increases, and thoughts gain power.
What happens when you become soul-conscious (Atmaswaroop)?
When a person becomes soul-conscious:
The soul’s power begins to awaken
Connection with the Supreme Soul (God) increases
Through this connection (yog), divine energy flows into the soul
Just like one lamp lights another, the soul gets power from the Supreme. As this connection deepens, thought power increases, and desires begin to manifest.
How are desires fulfilled?
On the path of knowledge (Gyan Marg), many souls gradually enter the incorporeal (Nirakari) stage step by step. Through this process, they begin to establish a connection with the Supreme Soul (Paramatma).
They mentally travel beyond, towards the Supreme Abode (Param Dham), and remember the Infinite Supreme Father. As the soul practices this deeply, its intellect (buddhi) reaches that higher realm, and gradually becomes calm and detached.
As this state deepens, the soul progresses further, and its spiritual capacity (kala/shakti) begins to increase. By remembering the Supreme Father, even a small portion of divine power starts flowing into the soul.
With this, the power of thoughts (sankalp shakti) increases, and the soul gains inner strength.
Then, the desires that of physical world incomplete wishes—begin to get fulfilled one by one. These long-pending desires from previous lifetimes start manifesting as the soul gains power. For example, “I want a car”—then gradually, arrangements for that comfort begin to form in subtle world first. Then from subtle world energies get transferred to aura
Through this process, the power of thoughts (sankalp shakti) starts increasing and spreads into the environment. As these thought energies develop and expand, circumstances begin to align. Eventually, arrangements are created, and the person receives the car they desired—because both the desire and the required conditions become available. If their capacity is low, they may desire a luxury car but end up receiving a smaller one.
Desire vs Soul Power
Strong desire + weak soul = limited results
Strong soul + powerful thoughts = manifestation
Even if someone initially had no car in their destiny, through spiritual effort and connection with the Supreme, they may eventually receive one.
Why do Yogis sometimes fall back into worldly desires?
A person may start spiritual practice and gain some power. But:
If inner desires (vasanas) still exist
That power is used to fulfill worldly desires
Once desires are fulfilled, the person may leave the spiritual path.
This is why:
A yogi can become a bhogi (one who indulges in pleasures)
Maya (illusion) pulls the soul back
