The Science of Attachment, Ignorance, and the Path to Supreme Peace (Paramshanti)

Awakening of the Soul and the Expansion of Supreme Peace

Humanity is witnessing a subtle yet powerful transformation. Many souls are experiencing inner awakening—feeling supreme radiance within, sensing peace spreading in all directions, and realizing a deeper purpose of life. This awakening is not accidental; it is the result of conscious remembrance, resolutions made at the soul level, and alignment with Paramshanti (supreme peace).

When we awaken each morning and before we sleep, if we consciously set pure resolutions, our subconscious mind absorbs them. Even our dreams begin to align with supreme peace. This simple yet profound practice gradually transforms life. It is a spiritual science now reaching seekers across the world.

Understanding Attachment: Why Do We Get Trapped?

Attachment is one of the most powerful forces binding the soul. But what is its root?

The primary cause of attachment is ignorance—ignorance of our true nature as eternal, peaceful, self-sustained souls. The mind is constantly in search of happiness. Wherever it experiences pleasure, it records that experience and begins to chase it repeatedly.

Whether it is a person, a habit, wealth, power, intoxication, recognition, or possessions—the mind seeks joy and clings to whatever once gave pleasure.

The Role of the Mind and Recorded Joy

The mind does not differentiate between real happiness and temporary pleasure. If it records that smoking, alcohol, anger, lust, or material success brings joy, it will repeatedly demand those experiences.

=---his is why habits repeat--This is why addictions form---This is why attachments deepen.

The mind says:

  • “This made me feel good once.”

  • “Let me do it again.”

  • “Let me repeat it.”

Thus, attachment is born from recorded pleasure.

Five Vices: The Fuel of Attachment

Attachment is strengthened by the five primary vices:

  1. Ego

  2. Lust

  3. Anger

  4. Greed

  5. Delusion

These vices cloud the intellect. When intellect is confused, wisdom disappears. When wisdom disappears, attachment multiplies. Slowly, the soul forgets its own power and begins to seek happiness outside.

Attachment and Desire: A Chain Explained in the Gita

The Bhagavad Gita explains this clearly:

  • Remembrance creates desire

  • Desire creates attachment

  • Attachment creates craving

  • Craving leads to bondage and suffering

Whatever we repeatedly remember, we slowly become.

If we remember intoxication, we move toward intoxication.
If we remember anger, we become anger.
If we remember greed, greed grows stronger.

Why Worldly Happiness Never Satisfies

Worldly pleasures give joy for moments—but the soul seeks eternal fulfillment. This mismatch creates frustration.

People may gain wealth, relationships, power, or indulgence, yet peace remains absent. History proves this again and again. Even those with unlimited possessions never attained true peace.

This is because:

  • The soul is eternal

  • Pleasure is temporary

  • The source of happiness is internal, not external

Breaking the Trap: Rewriting Inner Recordings

Freedom from attachment does not come by force, but by understanding.

When a desire arises, remind yourself:

  • “This is temporary.”

  • “This does not give real joy.”

  • “True happiness exists within the soul.”

Repeated wisdom rewrites the mind’s recordings.

Gradually, the mind loses interest in false pleasures. What once felt attractive begins to feel hollow.

True Attachment: Attachment to the Divine

The only attachment that liberates is attachment to the Supreme Soul.

When the soul connects with divine remembrance:

  • Inner strength increases

  • Wisdom becomes stable

  • Vices lose power

  • Peace becomes natural

This is not renunciation of action, but renunciation of dependency.

Karma, Choice, and Responsibility

Past karmas may surface, but free will always exists. What we choose to think today shapes tomorrow’s destiny. Attachment decides rebirth- Detachment decides liberation.

If we attach ourselves deeply to worldly relationships, those bonds pull us back again. If we attach ourselves to the divine, those chains dissolve.

The Inner Storm and the Peaceful Soul

A wise soul is like a person sitting inside a closed house during a storm. The storm may rage outside, but inside there is calm.

When the inner world is peaceful, the outer world cannot disturb us.

This state comes through:

  • Self-awareness

  • Constant remembrance

  • Control over thoughts

  • Detachment from illusion

Illusion (Maya): The Greatest Deception

This world is not false—but believing it to be the source of happiness is the illusion.

Desires promise joy but deliver bondage.
Anger promises power but delivers regret.
Greed promises security but delivers fear.

Wisdom reveals this deception.

Conclusion: Choosing Wisdom Over Ignorance

Attachment is not sin—it is ignorance.
Detachment is not loss—it is freedom.
Wisdom is the bridge.

The mind may fall many times, but the soul never falls. Each moment is an opportunity to return to self-identity and divine remembrance.

The path is clear:

  • Reduce remembrance of illusion

  • Increase remembrance of the Supreme

  • Let Paramshanti guide every thought

A new era begins not through force, but through awakened souls.
