The Divine Essence of Faith: Recognizing God as the Source of All Life
Here Carries a message of profound truth and urgency — “In the coming time, even medicine will not work.” This may seem astonishing at first, but the meaning goes far beyond the physical realm. Bapuji is pointing towards a deeper spiritual crisis — a time when the impurity of the human mind and the decline in inner power will render even material solutions ineffective. When the mind becomes one’s own enemy — filled with ignorance, desire, and sorrow — even medicines lose their power. The root of all suffering begins in the mind, and only the purification of the mind can bring true healing. Just as one bathes the body daily to stay clean, the mind too must be cleansed every day through self-awareness, meditation, and remembrance of God. If we allow layers of negativity and ignorance to accumulate, even God’s light cannot enter our mind. The path to wellness — physical, emotional, and spiritual — begins with inner purification.
Losing Everything Without Recognizing God
Bapuji emphasizes: “If you do not regard God, you will lose everything.”
Our mind, intellect, and ego often deceive us into believing we are self-sufficient. But at the time of death, all worldly possessions, honors, and relationships dissolve. The memories and experiences of many lifetimes compress into a subtle seed within the soul — only to manifest again in another birth. The entire cosmos — with its trillions of galaxies and billions of solar systems — reflects the infinite intelligence of the Creator. Even a potter exerts effort to mold a pot from clay. Then who shaped this unfathomable universe? Who sustains its order? To recognize God is to awaken the truth that all creation is born of a supreme consciousness. Without this recognition, all achievements vanish like dust.
Faith in God: The Path to Liberation and Supreme Peace
The Vedas and Upanishads declare that God is the source of all energy and consciousness. The Bhagavad Gita teaches that those who do not take refuge in God remain lost in illusion. Wealth, pleasure, and knowledge without devotion bring no peace. When the soul forgets its source, it loses its divine power and becomes weak. Only by reconnecting with God — the Supreme Father of the supreme abode — can the soul regain strength, purity, and Paramshanti (supreme peace). Believing in God is not about rituals or idol worship. It means recognizing your true self as an eternal soul and realizing your connection with the Supreme. A leaf detached from its tree dries up; similarly, a soul detached from God withers in sorrow.
Faith as the Source of Strength and Miracles
Faith transforms suffering into wisdom and despair into hope. Even in the darkest times, the devotee finds inner strength through remembrance of God. Faith grants patience, endurance, and courage. When the mind anchors in God, it finds rest and focus. Restlessness fades away, and divine concentration arises. Believing in God gives the mind a place to settle — the wandering energy of life finds peace in divine remembrance. Faith also lightens the burden of karma. When one surrenders to God, understanding dawns that every experience is part of divine justice. Acceptance brings peace, and peace dissolves bondage.
Atheism: The Path of Emptiness
An atheist walks alone in the dark forest of life. Without faith, fear and loneliness dominate. But a believer feels protected — “God is with me.” This thought brings invisible strength and companionship. Faith gives meaning to existence. Even a simple villager who works hard and believes in God lives a contented life. Peace does not come from possessions but from trust in the divine. Knowledge without devotion becomes poison — it inflates the ego and eats away inner peace. Just like a virus infects the body, ignorance infects the soul. The only cure is divine knowledge — the remembrance of our origin.
The True Connection: God and the Soul
Believing in God awakens the awareness that the soul is a spark of the Supreme Light. Like a mobile phone without a charger, the soul loses energy when disconnected from its source. All great scriptures — the Vedas, Upanishads, Gita, Puranas, and Shiva Purana — proclaim that devotion and remembrance of God lead to liberation and divine bliss. Each path — whether of Brahma, Vishnu, or Shiva — ultimately merges into one truth: God is One, and realizing Him is the purpose of life. Bapuji says that recognizing God elevates the soul beyond worldly limitations and unites it with infinite cosmic consciousness. This union is liberation — the state of eternal Paramshanti.
Merging with the Supreme
The Chandogya Upanishad says: “Tat tvam asi” — You are That. Signifies the fundamental unity of individual (atman) and the universal consciousness ( Brahaman)
The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad declares: “Aham Brahmasmi” — I am Brahman.
When the seeker realizes this truth, duality ends. The river merges into the ocean, and the soul merges into the Supreme Soul. This is not annihilation but expansion — the infinite merging into the Infinite Light. True merging happens when ego dissolves, and love, devotion, and surrender awaken. It is a state where the inner light of the soul and the eternal light of God become one. The Vaishnav philosophy, like that of the Ghodiyal Vaishnav, interprets this a bit differently. The individual is part of Brahman but not completely one, rather it is linked with devotion. However, in the original Chandogya, it is a symbol of unity. It is an example. Suppose you are in a boat in a stormy sea. Trust in God is like that compass that shows you the right direction. Without it, you can drift, get scared, or even drown. But when you have faith in God, you believe that some power will save you.
Story of Uddalaka and Shvetaketu
In the Upanishads, the sage Uddalaka Aruni teaches his son Shvetaketu through the example of salt dissolved in water. He says: “Just as salt pervades the entire water though unseen, so too the Divine pervades this entire creation. You may not see Him, but He is within you — and you are That (Tat Tvam asi) .Then an example of a seed was also shared. The teacher brought a seed of a fruit and said, "Break it." Shvetaketu broke it, but found nothing inside. The teacher said that this subtle essence is the cause of that huge tree. In the same way, the subtle essence of Brahman is the cause of creation. This story beautifully explains that the Divine essence is invisible yet omnipresent. The entire universe — every being, every atom — is infused with that same Supreme Consciousness.
Conclusion: Recognize, Remember, and Realize
To believe in God is to remember your divine origin. To recognize your soul as eternal light. To live with awareness, compassion, and surrender. When the soul remembers its source, it becomes free from fear, sorrow, and attachment. It experiences Paramshanti (supreme peace) — the ultimate bliss of unity with the Supreme Father.
So Bapuji’s message for today is clear: Medicine will not work when the mind is impure. Only divine remembrance and faith will heal the soul. Recognize God. Purify your mind. Live as a divine soul. Spread supreme peace. Such abundant, unwavering faith should create a spirit within all souls, so that every person leaves good, pure, and purest vibrations with the power of their soul, and quickly, the world moves forward in a new direction.
