Life After Death — combined with the profound teachings of Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya, the founder of the Pushtimarg (Path of Divine Grace).

The Power of Thought and the Bondage of the Mind

Every thought that arises in the mind may appear momentary, but its impact lasts for a lifetime — sometimes even across multiple births. Humanity remains trapped because it keeps holding on to thoughts that generate desire, attachment, fear, and craving. Just as children cry for toys, humans cry for happiness. Yet this very craving for happiness becomes the cause of suffering. True liberation (moksha) does not mean only freedom from sorrow — it also means freedom from the desire for happiness. As long as one is attached to pleasure, suffering continues. The liberated soul becomes a witness, free from both joy and pain.

What Is Liberation?

Liberation is not going to heaven. Liberation is not gaining pleasure. Liberation is rising above both happiness and sorrow. A truly liberated being lives in the world but is not bound by it. This state is known as Jivan Mukti — liberation while living.

The World: Real or Illusion?

Human beings live inside a self-created universe built from:

  • “This is my family”

  • “This is my identity”

  • “This is mine”

These mental constructs create a circle of ego and attachment. After death, the soul forgets all of it and creates a new circle again in another body.

Thus, the world we experience is a projection of conditioning — real in experience, but temporary like a dream.

Shankaracharya vs Vallabhacharya

Shankaracharya

  • Said the world is illusion (Maya)

  • Brahman alone is real

Vallabhacharya

  • Said the world is not false

  • The world is a manifestation of God

  • Just as a pot is made of clay, the universe is made of Brahman

This philosophy is called Shuddhadvaita (Pure Non-Dualism). God did not create the world from something else — God became the world. Therefore, the universe is sacred, divine, and real.

The Cosmic Cycle

The universe is not permanent. It repeatedly appears and dissolves. This is not destruction — it is withdrawal into Brahman and re-manifestation again. Souls move through these cycles until they awaken. No soul can escape this cosmic rotation until ignorance is dissolved.

Who Was Vallabhacharya?

Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya (1409–1479) was one of India’s greatest spiritual masters.

  • Born in Andhra Pradesh

  • Mastered Vedas and Vedanta by age 13

  • Defeated scholars across India in philosophical debates

  • Founded Pushtimarg, the Path of Divine Grace

  • Established 84 sacred seats (Chaurasi Baithak)

He taught that:

  • Krishna is Brahman

  • Love (Bhakti) is higher than dry knowledge

  • Grace is more powerful than effort

Pushtimarg: The Path of Divine Grace

Pushti means divine nourishment.

It is not effort-based liberation but God pulling the soul back through love.

In this path, one offers:

  • Ego

  • Desire

  • Attachment

  • Identity

…at the feet of Shri Krishna.

Three Eternal Realities

According to Vallabhacharya:

  1. Brahman (God)

  2. Jiva (Soul)

  3. Jagat (World)

All three are real — but Brahman is the source.

The Departure of Great Souls

Many divine beings do not die — they withdraw from manifestation.

  • Ram entered the Sarayu

  • Sita returned to the Earth

  • Mirabai became light

  • Kabir became a flower

  • Vallabhacharya merged into divine flame

These were not deaths — they were returns to the subtle world.

The True Goal of Life

Nothing on Earth lasts: Wealth, Body, Fame, Relationships All dissolve. Only the soul remains. Therefore, the purpose of life is: To awaken, realize, and return.
